If you are planning on attending the event in August or just want more information regarding the event, please email us at info@rgvca.org. This way we can get an accurate count on who's attending. We want to be sure and try our best to provide food for everyone during the BBQ, so please contact us. It is very important to us to maintain a solid number so that nobody is disappointed. This will be a fabulous event for everyone to attend regardless if you're an experienced driver or not, if your vehicle is or isn't modified; WE WANT YOU THERE! Bring your friends and family for this event! This event is to bring us all together so that we can learn and benefit from one another.
Please do not be hesitant about the drive to the RGVCA base camp. It is in no way a difficult or techical drive. It is about 21 miles northh of Access 6. Many of us have done the drive in 2 wheel drive with no problem whatsoever. There are no reasons to have any reservation about your vehicle and it's capabilities. One of the biggest parts of this entire experience is to learn about your vehicle, learn it's capabilities and help you build confidence. Besides, there will be plenty of us to help out in case someone does get stuck. So bring the family, bring your friends and we'll see you on the beach!

We hope that you will all be able to make it RGVCA's event Saturday, August 7th, 2010! We are expecting a wonderful turnout thus far, and with many wonderful sponsors and organizations supporting the RGVCA and this event, we hope that it is an event worth remembering. Here is the schedule of events:
- All participants to meet at first bay side entrance (left side) after the South Padre
Convention Center
- All participants will convoy on beach run approximately 25 miles to end of the beach where the RGVCA site will be stationed with POWER SOURCE, WATER SOURCE, SAFE SOURROUNDINGS AND EVEN A SHOWER
- Welcoming announcement by RGVCA Founder & President
- Events will be held for participants thanks to our sponsors
Events to include, but not limited to: Obstacle Course, Martini Glass Challenge, Blind Man's Bluff, Vehicle Jousting, Know Your Fluids Contest, Know Your Parts Contest
-Free BBQ for all participants
- Closing ceremonies to include prizes to be given away for People's Choice Awards
During the entire event you will have the opportunity to vote for your favorite FJC in
special categories
Many of our participants will be planning on camping out together this evening, so if you are encouraged to do so as well. Browse through the website for more information!
